The original SmartyButton includes one large red button which lights up (powered by USB), and when pressed, sends a keystroke to your computer – specifically, the space bar.

Many computer programs take input from the keyboard when the space bar is pressed. SmartyButton simply provides an alternate means of doing so, with a much more elegant look compared to a keyboard.
